2021 I sat in my seat a row infront of the Conductor smiling, I was in district band playing part 2 in the Clarnet section. I looked around soon spotting the Trombone section, I saw a Blond haired boy looking straight at me, he looked down when he saw me looking at him. Confused I looked back to my music, Kenzi, One of my better friends was sitting next to me, I cleared my mind as the frankford director raised the baton and we started to play “ The Dragons of the Anchent court” … 2022 It’s a new year, I’m Now in 8th grade At SMS. And lucky me, I was selected to audition for SCJB Or Sussex County Jounor Honor band. I was First from My school to get there for the Auditions, Then Kenzi, ANd Then Peter, But he was late. Me and Kenzi where Warming up our Clarnets when the Blond haired boy from district band walked in, I quickly looked at him a little closer and Quicly looked away when he looked at me. But he was defuntly was the same boy who was looking at me… I didn’t have a lot of time before I was called back for auditions, I walked past him, Feeling his gaze in my direction … 2022 I wanted to cry as I sat in the Greek Orthidox, A few rows behind the Casket. I slowly came to relize, again, that was Lynn’s Casket, One Of Moms Good friends. I looked around trying to distract myself from my sadness, I saw Mrs’ Marchese, My 6th grade Science Teacher, A lot of other people, I looked behind me to see if any one was there, Kenzi and her mom where behind us, And I let out a little Gasp of suprise, The Blond Haired oy From SCJHB And The District Celebration! I Quickly Turned around My head, My mind buzzing I let out a small breath clearing my mind and returning To the Funeral. .. Later that day.. I walked to our car silently, We had just watched Lynn get layed down to rest, Me, Kenzi, Amaleigh and mom.. And the boy, I kept looking over at him when I could see him, I could barely see the tears falling from his face, before I decided not to stare.The Beuchamps, Gabby, Alexa and Mr.Dan Invited Anyone to go to a resterant. To my Suprise, The boy was there, I tried to turn my thoughts but for some reasion, I couldent, So I turned to my mom “ Mom?” I said, My Mom looked up “ Yes?” she asked, I flicked my head in The Direction of the boy, “ He’s the boy who was looking at me in District band” I said. Mom looked over at the boy “ Go say hello, Then” I looked to the Boy, I got up, But Found my feet taking me to the bathroom, I looked over at the boy, and the boy looked up at me as I past his table, The “Kids” table. I never did say hello to him
