Chapter 1 - Death promises truth Jackie walked into the hospital room, her heart racing a marathon. She saw her brother Jason and ran to him. "Are you okay? Did they treat you bad? If they did I will kill them!" Jason grinned. "No, they didn't," he looked to the side. He tried to hide it but he couldn't hide that he was just as scared as his twin sister. Jackie interrupted his thoughts as she asked, "What did the doctors say?" Jason zoned out for a moment, how was he supposed to tell her this? He took a deep breath in and out. "They said that there's no way that they can-" Before he finished his sentence Jackie threw her arms around him in the warmest embrace she had ever given. "No! Our family needs you!" She paused and softly added, "/I/ need you," There was silence for a moment, the only sound being the muffled footsteps and background noise of the halls outside. 'Beep...beep...beep..beep' Jason hugged Jackie back. "Don't worry, this is natural," Jackie's eyes flew open as she shrieked. "No! You won't die! You can't die!" Jason squeezed her hand tightly, "Don't worry, we will meet again, soon," Jackie's vision blurred as tears welled up in her eyes. She felt herself being pulled away from her brother and she cried out, "No! Please!" Her vision became more and more blurred as she was pulled out of the door.
Chapter 2 - Death was not true (Life was) Jackie walked around the school halls holding textbooks in her arms, her head pounding. She noticed a boy that looked around her age and walked over to him. "Hello, I am Jackie Muhall and--" She dropped her textbooks as the boy threw his arms around her. She recognized this warm embrace. "Jason?" She asked, stunned. Jason looked up at her. "The one and only Jason Muhall!" He laughed as he cited that phrase. They used to say it as kids all the time, before Jason fell very ill. "I thought you had died!" Jackie wailed. Jason looked at her and exclaimed, "Death was not true," Song - Goo Goo Muck by The Cramps
