ARE LISTED BELOW PLEASE READ THEM!! I'm always making a bajillion DTAs so I thought I'd finally jump on the bandwagon and just make a rotating one! I'm not sure how often I'll rotate, so look out for new designs and ask if you'd like to be pinged ^^ For those of you who don’t know, a Draw to Adopt is a contest where you choose one of the characters in this project to draw in YOUR style. Then the judge, which in this case is me, will decide who wins the character based on which entry they liked best. If this doesn’t make sense, please let me know so I can be more clear. In a rotating DTA, it's the same thing but new designs are added every now and then! DO ✓ Add your entry to the respective studios, regardless if it's a remix or not, it makes it so much easier for me and I may not see your entry otherwise!! ✓ Use your own art. I will be able to tell if you trace or use a base or use art that isn't your own. If you steal/claim any art you didn't make you will be disqualified from this event and everything I host in the future ✓ Quality > Quantity _____________________________________________ DON'T ✗ Steal, trace, or use bases ✗ Put others or yourself down ✗ Steal or copy a design ✗ Ask for a character after the contest had ended ✗ Ask for a character without entering _____________________________________________ TIPS ○ Shading/lighting! ○ Use other programs (scratch is fine though!) I just know higher-quality programs help with the process and usually the result <3 ○ Animate :0 ○ Write a character bio (What do they like? What is their personality? etc.) Character biographies and especially stories with them are LITERALLY my favorite thing, so including one can really really boost your chances! ○ Add multiple drawings! I value quality > quantity, but it's nice to see more than one art piece :D ○ Add things/change things to better suit your style! As long as the design is recognizable, feel free to simplify or complicate the patterns or add/take away accessories/scars! ○ Name the characters! I'm completely fine with you keeping the little nicknames I gave them, but they really aren't *names* and it'd be awesome to see what names you guys come up with! Other - - Altering the design or changing the species (except for humans) is fine by me!
