From left to right: Spider-Man (New Series): Donning a homemade outfit, Spider-Man would go out into his neighborhood every night and solve petty crimes. But what does he do when he’s suddenly thrown into an intergalactic legion of Spider-Men? Scorpion (New Series): Mac Gargan was working on military grade mech technology. When he was on a mission, acid rain started pouring down, and luckily for him, some of it collected in the water tank of the mech, and allowed it to shoot acid. Mac kept working on the suit until he became The Scorpion, and swore to become a superhero. However, after he was bitten by a radioactive spider, that all changed. He was taken in by the Spider-Verse, who all expected him to become a Spider-Man. This sudden derailment of his life plans caused him to lock down the Spider-Verse center, and start attacking anyone who gets in his way. Spider-Gwen: Gwen Stacy was bitten by a radioactive spider at a young age, which led her to become the Spider-Woman. However, she discovered that the bite didn’t bring her new powers, but just activated mutant powers. So not only did she have the powers of the Spider-People, but she could also train alongside the X-Men. Spider-Man 2099: Miguel O’Hara was researching DNA, and when he was experimenting with his own DNA, the DNA of Peter Parker got mixed up in there, giving him spider powers. He single handedly took down the Kang of his universe, giving him infinite timeline access. Using this, he formed the Spider-Verse, a group of Spider-People dedicated to stopping threats. Spider-Finn: Anthony Thenob was minding his day, when a sign up sheet for volunteering in an experiment came his way. He signed it, and he got spider powers as a result, unbeknownst to him. He hid them for about a year until he was approached by the S.C.R.A.T.C.H. Organization. He joined the team and went on occasional missions. Suddenly, Galactus attacked. The team wasn’t prepared to deal with him, so they fled. Whilst Anthony was swinging away from the threats, a rift in time opened up, bringing him to the outskirts of the Spider-Verse, where he gathered equipment that fell from the sky and added it to his own arsenal.
