this is Oxblood, he's one of the protagonists/antagonists of one of my silly oc stories. He starts as a protagonist at the beginning, though he quickly lets his jealous overtake him, and he becomes a side antagonist. tl;dr of his story: he becomes jealous of the fact that he doesnt have magical powers like his friends and he decides to take it into his own hands and force himself to learn magic despite the fact that his body cant handle it, causing his magic to slowly consume his body ( covering it in ice ), he eventually gets a redemption arc and chooses to permanently rid himself of magic, though his body is damaged and scarred from the ice that once consumed it. i just realized that's too long for a tl;dr but whatever. any genre is okay.
