Heyyy About my lack of posting or activity this month, I was talking to a friend the other day and realized how much Scratch is to me, how much time it's taken to make art and talk to people on here, people I know nothing about. I don't know who will see this, or what they do behind a screen. You all don't know what I do every day away from my screen, and I'm just realizing, it doesn't matter how many times I draw a silly character I made when I'm with my friends, or when I do my chores, or when I go on a trip. It's not real. Life is real. I'm only going to be 14 once. I should be doing more, paying more attention to important things, next year I could be driving a car! I'm not saying Scratch is a waste of time, it has been an absolute blast meeting kids who love the same things I do, seeing amazing art, and reading incredible stories, I know without Scratch I would not have improved in my art so much. But in the long run in real life knowing the names of fictional cats and dragons won't help me get a job, or get good grades in school. I'm incredibly blessed to be who I am, I need to make sure I can use my talents for the right reasons, and recognize who I actually am away from a kids coding website. I'm going to take another summer hiatus, and I might not come back. I am not the girl I was before Scratch, I know I have grown a lot, in lots of ways. I will still remember and care about all of the awesome people I've met here, but I can move on feeling ok that I've made my mark. I'm not leaving now!!! I just needed everybody to know so it wouldn't be a huge shock. Think about it. I'm serious. Also, I will be finishing my MAP parts/TNEs, DTAEs, etc, and possibly entering a few more. And I'm still going to be on for May the 4th at least, gotta celebrate that with y'all <3 1. Spiresight warmup drawing, this version doesn't have added colors, just gray. 2.
