FIRST THINGS FIRST - I would like to clarify that this game is not supposed to promote any political ideas or ideologies at all, it was only made for fun and is not to be taken seriously. ========================================= Welcome to STEEL STRATEGY, the revolutionary strategy game that calls upon you to use your bird’s eye view to lead your nation! ========================================== HOW TO SELECT A NATION: To select a nation, type the country’s name with a capital at the start (eg. Egypt). Please keep in mind that only the coloured countries on the map can be played as. HOW TO BUILD AN ARMY: To build an army, click the military button (it should look like a a green helmet) in the top-right corner and you can build units, those being Infantry, Tanks and Artillery. All of these units require manpower to be made. HOW TO BUILD FACTORIES: To build a factory, click the economy button on the right (it should look like a gold coin with a $ sign on it) and you can click the different factories to build 1 at a time. Each factory has different costs and producers different materials which can be used for different things. HOW TO DECLARE WAR: To declare war, you must first have a war goal. Click the diplomacy button on the bottom right (it should look like 2 flags) and type in “Justify war goal”. Then type in the name of the country that you want to justify against (make sure it has a capital letter at the start (eg. Egypt)) and wait. You will be notified when the justification is complete. Once this is done, click the diplomacy button again and type in “Declare war”. The nation that you justified against will then be at war with you. HOW TO INVADE: When you declare war, a button below the diplomacy button should appear. This is what you can use to command your army. You can invade using infantry or tanks. Click the military operations button (the one below the diplomacy button) and click it. Then type in “Invade” to invade. Type in what unit you would like to use for the invasion (infantry or tanks). You can also reduce the enemy nation’s army by using artillery bombardments, simply type “Artillery Bombardment” and, if you have artillery, the enemy army will be reduced. HOW TO SET AN IDEOLOGY: Ideologies can give buffs and nerfs to your country. Liberty increases your economy, socialism increases your factory output and nationalism reduces your justification time. Click the ideology button in the bottom-right corner (it should look like a government building) and type in the ideology you want to choose. Once you have chosen your ideology, you cannot change it again. HOW TO CREATE FORMABLES: Formables are automatically done for you. A formable is a nation that is created when a select group of other countries is owned by one country. Some countries have unique formables of their own, while others share a formable. STABILITY: Stability is the people’s opinion of you. If your stability is high, people will support you. If your stability is low, people will revolt against you. You can keep your stability up by building electronic factories. If your stability goes below 30%, nations you occupy will declare independence from you. ========================================= #games #strategy
