Aviate is a joint program between United Airlines and the EAA Oshkosh foundation to train young pilots. The pilots can then join United Airlines as First Officers and fly mainline aircraft such as the Boeing 737 MAX-8 (Pictured is Boeing 737 MAX-8 N17254) Planes flown by pilots from Aviate usually have the Aviate sticker on the nose of the aircraft.
I personally flew on a United Airlines 737 MAX-8 that wasn't flown by Aviate pilots, but it might receive Aviate-certified pilots in the future.
