[ this is still a WIP! I still need to finish the personality. In the meantime, tell me what you think! I need song recs for this as well :eyes: ] :: username :: @politicallyuncorrect / @somethinkable :: about me :: Life is chaotic, but I have learned to embrace the entropy. The disorderliness of day-to-day life never really bothers me, and generally, I'm a rather easygoing and carefree person who just wants to have fun [I mean, doesn't everyone?]. Most of my time on Scratch is spent idly chatting with my friends or finishing that one drawing that I had been working on for the past week. Or perhaps I may stop halfway through and begin some other small doodle. Nonetheless, I almost always get things done in the end, but I have an extremely bad habit of putting things off until the last minute. Admittedly, I'm a major procrastinator, and half the battle for me is often simply finding the motivation to even start whatever task I've been dreading. The same goes for roleplaying. Quite often, I have to be pinged multiple times in order to reply, but once I eventually do reply, such is never lazy or half-hearted. Most of my replies are 1-3 comments long, but I try to match my fellow rper's comment length with limited success. If I'm being honest, I can easily go a bit... overboard and write an unnecessarily long reply. My starters are usually the only overly-extensive ones, thankfully, and my reply length simmers down as the roleplay progresses. I don't have any sort of preference for others' replies, however, and am fine as long as there is at least something interesting to respond to. I accept requests from everyone, and I'm always more than happy to chat with anyone about how their day went or about the fact that tap water is delicious and no one can prove me wrong. These conversations get me through the chaos in life and are what I truly am on Scratch for <3 :: experience :: I have been roleplaying since about 2019 in TFCRP and various other roleplays, such as GWCRP as Rookstar and ICRP as Gallant. I craft short stories in my free time [of which is usually nonexistent] and like to think of every rp strand I'm in as just another one of them! I'm still learning, however, and I hope with Queen Bee I can extend my roleplay knowledge even further. :: previous characters :: I had two characters in TFCRP in 2019, but the both of them were rather irrelevant and thus I will not be discussing them [their names were Willowpool of WC and Shimmerpaw of RC, just in case anyone does remember them :eyes:]. In 2021, Russetcrown was born in the Riverclan nursery. He was a rather extreme sort of cat, with flamboyance and arrogance to last about a lifetime. They did, too, as Russetcrown lived to the ripe age of like 79 or something like that [I mean, who's keeping track haha] before unfortunately succumbing to rabies [and being the first TFCRP cat to do so, I believe!]. He was a good cat at heart and loved his friends and family very much, even if that love tended to show as annoyance. I had a lot of good memories with him and hope to potentially do the same with Honeybeekit! :: activity level :: I won't lie here; I'm probably like a 6/10. I'll still be as active as can be with Honeybeekit if I'm lucky enough to win her, but know I'm prone to taking breaks every now and then due to high stress and/or low motivation. :: harming characters :: I don't tend to severlu harm my characters unless if it serves a specfic purpose. Debilitating injury is never, or perhaps rarely, a good character arc in my opinion, however, so I usually abstain from major injury if I can avoid it. :: longevity :: I can guarantee I'll keep Honeybeekit for a minimum of 30 moons. Past that, it's likely she would live to around one-yearish. It's hard to say now, but I definitely will not kill her young if that is what you're asking about. :: gender and sexuality :: Honeybeekit will remain female for now, but she will soon discover that she is very, /very/ bi.
:: personality :: The queen of the hive has a personality that is sure to defend her title. It is a complex personality--what with all of its secrets and contradictions--and one so royal it could not fit in this project. If you would like to read it, please see inside! I have everything so far typed on one of those sticky-note-looking comments attached to the code. Honeybeekit would want me to say that it's like one of those long, medieval scrolls announcing all her redeeming qualities, but I'd much rather not lie and have you go inside and see the clunky comment yourself /lh :: research :: In the hot desert sun of Windclan, this long-furred queen bee is particularly prone to overheating. Overheating can be especially dangerous in cats due to the fact they only have sweat glands on their paw pads; a feline's body is designed to keep heat in, not release it. Honeybeekit is especially at risk to heat stroke because of this, and serious health problems like internal organ failure may occur. Honeybeekit will have to be careful with how much time she spends in the sun and would probably take a lot of baths in streams and such as means of cooling off. There are warning signs for overheating as well which can include glazed eyes, lethargy, difficulty breathing, a rapid heart rate, wobbly walking, loss of balance, vomiting, seizures, red gums or tongue, and collapse. She may also start panting which, while normal behavior in dogs, is a sign of being too hot in cats. So, instead of embarrasing myself with a rushed or low-effort jumble of paragraphs, I've provided a link to some of my previous rps with Russetcrown so you can get an idea of my writing style. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/746199473/ https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/30892247/comments/#comments-203544816 https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/30892247/comments/#comments-174231239 https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/30892247/comments/#comments-174955895 :: codewords :: Funny, someone actually once said to me that fireflies were like the raindrops of the night, giving life to the darkness as rain does to the plants. This seemed super deep and poetic at first, but now as I look back on it, it makes less and less sense. Oh well. I like strawberries as well and magnolias, too! :: trivia :: Honeybeekit is, ironically enough, terrified of bugs. Despite being someone who typically tries to come off as 'cool,' it is very common--and amusing, too--to see her shrieking her head off because a beetle buzzed by the fresh-kill pile or something. She is also a germaphobe as well and can't stand anything unhygenic. Nothing under perfectly clean will do for this little princess, and she makes sure everyone knows it, too. HB's fur smells like wildflowers and an ocean breeze She also walks in a peculiar manner, what with her head held high as she bumbles from side to side. Her pawsteps tread light, however, and it is very easy for her to sneak up on someone
