My newest (and biggest) project, PTTT: Multiverse Initiative is a Purple's Totally Tubular Towers fangame that combines the simplicity, nostalgia, and straightforwardness of PTTT1 with the updated, modern-ish QOL aspects of PTTT2, and works towards the ultimate question: "Why do we keep digging holes to the center of the Earth?" This game is supposed to explore the possibilities of the fangame multiverse, and delves into the different iterations of Purple's Totally Tubular Towers. This game is NON-CANON, NOT OFFICIAL. It uses all of the original PTTT1 difficulties (minus Error and Totally Tubular) and does not include Tower Rushes... yet.
How it's going: My first devlog... weird. Never thought I'd be doing this, but here we are now. I'm currently working on fixing the kit and making QOL changes to it with the help of an online YouTube tutorial released last November. The towers aren't going to look the best, but that's the point! The modern design and gameplay of PTTT2 is incredibly confusing and difficult to understand! Towers in PTTT1 are simple, straightforward, and fun! There is a clear understanding of how hard a difficulty is in PTTT1! Nothing looks ludicrous in PTTT1! If I'm going to make this fangame, I need help. My fellow developers will need the following: - Roblox Studio experience - Basic tower-building and gameplay experience (no gat towers, i shouldn't have to say this) - Client object experience (know what every CO does) - PTTT knowledge (we will be working with PTTT1 content adjusted to today's standards, so a lot of confusion is expected.) - Patience (I will be doing stuff that requires attention. If I say smth about it, wait until I am done.) These are not needed, but are HIGHLY recommended: - Lobby builders (ppl who can make good lobbies)] - Portal and winpad management (desperately need help pls help me) - Scripting knowledge (we might need to add stuff like npcs, so a scripter would be helpful) These are NOT wanted in the current state of the game: - Ludicrous design and gameplay in towers. You do not need to strive to make the best, craziest looking tower possible. The point is to have fun. - Content from foreign fangames. We are working with PTTT, and the game should feel like it.
