Meganthalagon (Maxima Serpe) is a massive 20-meter-long and 12-meter-tall alien that crawls on the seabed of Aquarin. The Meganthalagon crawls slowly on the seabed, eating coral, smaller creatures, and microorganisms, but mostly scavenges for dead animals or plants. They are so heavily armored that it has no predators besides Slice Shriekers. It takes thousands of Slice Shriekers to take it down. They are solitary but babies tend to stay together, in the Graced Reefs until they reach adulthood when they leave the safety of the Reefs and swim to the seabed under the submartic where the temperature can reach up to negative 7 degrees. Adults usually conserve energy by staying still and only moving when they find food. Babies, on the other hand, are still light enough to swim around with penguin-like flippers and are very active, swimming around to eat microorganisms or small creatures. Adults are too heavy to swim so they just crawl on the seabed. They are very vocal creatures, making loud bellowing noises and ramming rocks to communicate.
