The name's Silver, I'm just your run of the mill teenage gurl on the internet. I do a good deal of writing, especially short stories and free verse. Recently, I've been pushed towards creative writing again, and to keep myself away from the realm of fanfics and closer to the land of actual stories, I've decided to host a writing contest. Oh, who am I kidding? *drifts back to AO3* But still, I'm hosting a writing contest regardless. Rules: 1) All writing must be your own. If you steal writing, then shame on you, someone else spent time and effort on that writing. And you stole it. Shame. On. You. 2) All entries are due by... February 27th. Cuz why not? 3) The entry has to be a remix. Like, don't write a story in the comments.... please- 4) Yes, there is a theme to this! Sorta. Basically, the word "hunt" has to appear somewhere in your writing. Mm... Why that word? *shifts awkwardly* Nope, no reason.... *glances at LotF and TMDG* No reason at all... But anyways, the writing can be a short story, a poem, a very short story, a very short poem- It doesn't have to be entirely ABOUT hunting. It just needs to mention it somewhere. Maybe as a simile? "The close, scrutinizing gaze made him feel as though the person in front of him was carefully sizing him up, determining whether he would even be worth a hunt." Hhhhh srry 'bout that.
