Further observation showed that beside him was another small wolf who too was snuggled beside his mother. The large she-wolf gazed at her two boys, she decided on Remus’s name right away. Though, The second twin-his needed some thought. Excited at the sight of her new brothers, Mikumi yipped wagging her small tail. “Mommy! Mommy!” She squealed playfully nipping her mother’s tail. Moons passed by Juneau had finally decided on the second one’s name, Caladin. The two brothers Remus and Caladin went everywhere together, wanting to explore everything the world had to offer. The last happy memory Caladin had of Remus was when the family decided to move to this new place known as Dusk Valley. Remus giggled as he and Caladin dashed through the reeds, Mikumi chasing after them as well. That was the last good memory Caladin had over all three of them, before Mikumi left. It was day two of their long journey, the family had settled down in a quiet valley. When Caladin was roused to consciousness for a reason he was unaware of, sitting up he saw Mikumi motionless beside the river. His breath caught in his throat as Caladin ran to her as fast as his tiny legs would carry him. When he approached her body, Mikumi made a soft noise. Caladin laid down beside her seeing her tiny body shaking uncontrollably. Mikumi looked at him, fear in her large brown eyes. Before he could as what was wrong, she weakly collapsed into his side tears in her eyes. Caladin placed his head on her back, knwojbg she just needed him to be here. He stayed with her until Mikumi let out her last breath. Her last breath freed her soul, Caladin felt tears running down his face as he buried his snout in her pelt. Only now did Caladin notice how much smaller Mikumi was than him, even though she was at least a moon older. Mikumi had just needed love til the end, her will to live being lost in those last few hours. As the sun began to rise Caladin got slowly up to his feet. Gently hoisting Mikumi over his shoulder, he carried her to a small patch of Chrysanthemums just in bloom. Caladin lowered her small body to the ground covering her with the beautiful flowers. That was the last time he ever got to see his sweet sister, so young, yet so sick. Moons went by in a blur, he grew apart from Remus. Then when the day came that a new young wolf, entered the world of the living joining his small family, Caladin showed pure hatred towards the new wolf. The wolf was given the name Eyolf, and he tried so hard to be Caladin’s friend. Until it went to far. When Caladin was abou 24 moons old he came across Diablo and Diedre, the three of them over time became extremely close. When Diedre and Caladin fell in love Diablo grew jealous, and that eventually grew into anger. He distanced himself from the two, then one day when tiny Eyolf tried following Diablo thinking Caladin would be wherever he was going. Diablo lashed out at the small wolf, Eyolf in fear ran towards the river. Diablo chased him, teeth bared. As Diablo lunged from him Eyolf dodged, and Diablo was launched into the unforgiving depths. He struggled but eventually was lost in the unforgiving rapids. Caladin had approached and seeing Eyolf where his old friend had been, without thinking Caladin pushed the small wolf into the river. Eyolf and Diablo both lost their lives that night, and Caladin lost his best friend, his brother, and his true love.
