I haven't seen you since that Crush Crush game on mobile. -I don't know what it is with anime and kingdoms getting attacked, but alright. -So, uh who's driving that car in the opening? -We're only starting February and I think I already found my favorite anime opening of 2023, so that deserves a negative sin. -I didn't realize I was watching Princess Peach getting kidnapped by Bowser yet again. -When your acceleration sucks but your max speed is crazy high. -Nice parkour. -Ah Sora. Haven't seen you since Kingdom Hearts. -Only one episode in and we're starting with death threats. I can tell this anime will go well. -"Welcome to heaven!" -That big guy. -Alright, one episode in and we're starting with gross humor. That deserves a double sin penalty at the end. Such a shame considering that his anime has high potential. You aren't Wario dude. -Nice karma. -I thought that asteroid would hit you two as well. -Ah yes, my favorite part in any show is when a character stays in mid-air until they realize they're in mid-air and then fall. That removes two sins. -Girl just got freaking isekai'd already. -Y'all aren't gonna drop that Pretty Holic thing you did since Tropical Rouge? -That scene swapping every 2 milliseconds though. -Ever heard of personal space? -"All these iron boxes moving around" -Sora. You could at least be more accurate with shapes and stuff. -So the monster of this season is called "Ranborg" huh? That actually seems like a cool name, so I'm removing one sin. -Dude. You not only broke the fourth wall, but also completely obliterated it. That also deserves a negative sin because I live for fourth wall breaks. -And you deserve two more sins for ruining someone's diary or whatever. -That scream though. -Well, looks like this season's catchphrase is "It's hero time" so I'll give a sin for every time that's said, because I need to give sins for something. With that said, this is the second time that was said, so here's two sins I guess. -Easily the most creative transformation ever, so I'm getting rid of another sin. -Them physics. -Dude. FINAL CONCLUSION: Well, despite the few things that bothered me in this episode, this has to be one of the strongest starts to any anime that I've watched recently. If this is how good the first episode is, then I can't wait to see the rest of the episodes, which I'll worry about every 3 episodes from now on.
