Sample project for Energy from the Sun lesson. In this project you can see the flow of energy from the sun as different elements in the project turn into color. (1) You see a ray of sun traveling down onto the Sugar Maple sapling. (2) The sapling takes in the sun, and along with nutrients, water, and carbon dioxide performs photosynthesis and creates sugar that the plant uses for energy. (3) The beaver comes along and eats the sapling and those sugars becomes energy for the animal.
