(yeah, not totally complete, but I have like 3 pieces of art I would add into here if I could lol. I just haven't done them and don't feel like doing them right now, I just wanna get this out ;w; so when I finish them soon (hopefully soon- if not, then I'll post them separately lol), I'll add them in here ;')) and I've been seeing that around pfft) HAHAHHA SECOND ART DUMP OF THE YEAR PFFT HERE'S SOME DRAWINGS THAT I DID IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS IN LIKE, HALF THE YEAR LOL SO YAY ENJOY I also marked which month it was lol- and was too lazy to organize it :") 1. (Jan) HERE SHE IS B))))) fiNAlly this is actually January art but I got the background done in…M-March ;w; Second time actually trying to do shading on the hair and clothing and actually give off texture on things. I never actually finished this though- I would've added lighting, but the background didn't suit much and I didn't want to redo it so I ended up not totally liking this ;w; 2. (Feb) Wave in the Land of Stars B))) I had lots of fun with this. Yeah drew lots of starry stuff haha- (Wave belongs to @johnsa26) I'm not super proud of the background, but it works. I kinda got what I was looking for :'D 3. (Mar? Apr?) (turn your brightness up for this one lol) Finally, Jake again, with like I said multiple multiple times, e d gy s h a d i n g an d l i g h t i n g B')) I know the lighting and shading is pretty heavy, whoops ;w; and I wanted him to look scared/terrified in a certain way, but I couldn't quite get it- 4. (Feb) Drawing with a trackpad on PS. If you guys don't know, drawing on a trackpad doesn't allow you to have pen pressure or transfer and all that :"DD but I decided to try it out and it didn't turn out bad actually! I had to do a few things differently but still looks cool B)) I imagine this could be some sort of fake STR panel or something, kinda set at maybe dusk or whatever lol 5-6. (Feb) I used Nico as a test subject for eyes :"))) (this was also a test for his hairstyle too ;') (I ended up using it lol) the second version is with a slight highlight in the pupil, you can hardly see it lol- I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the eye thing, but I kept seeing everyone making their eyes look super pretty so I'm like "wELL WHY SHOULDN'T I JOIN THE CLUB" 7. (Feb) The sketch because why not 8. (Feb) I drew this before I did the eyes on Nico, just see what I was gonna do. I made a few changes in Nico's eyes, but this was the base :'P 9. (a lot of months lol, mix of Sept 2022 through probably Feb 2023?) Remember when I told you I was sketching Jake, John? Yeah here's all the sketches :'D just drew these 'cause I didn't know how I would draw "edgy" Jake- we've got apprehensive Jake, alarmed Jake, embarrassed Jake, sAd Jake, skeptical Jake or something, w h e e z e Jake, and…uh, nervous Jake? I think? ;D more might even be added >:")) Now that I think about it, maybe I should just make a file dedicated to a bunch of sketches of certain characters on each one lol- 10. (Feb) A character I got from @StarclanCats's OTA! The drawing looked better in my head though rip ;w; I still have to name her :'P 11. (Feb) The other side of the character lol 12-14. (Feb) A few sketches of what I was going to do for the scene with Pirate X as one of the payments for Star. I couldn't really decide :")) The first is him looking at pictures of his wife because he sad boi, second is him looking out from his ship, and third is him munching on cookies B)) 15. (May) I said up there I would do this, right? B) some random Flint sketches I did in one day :"D there's angry Flint (which has a low chance of occurring lol), sad-ish Flint, nervous Flint, deep-in-thought Flint, w h e e z e Flint, embarrassed/flattered Flint, and surprised Flint ;") 16-17. (Mar?) I was thinking about some style tests, just to have some parts of my style be a little more anatomically correct. She looks more like a dog now to me for some reason, except for the muzzle X'D (spoiler: I ended up using them lol) 18. (Mar?) A tiny bit more style tests just to see if it worked. I wanted to try to actually make it look like cats were cats and dogs were dogs, but these- still look like non-cats to me ;w; 19-20. (Mar) I hadn't drawn Kale in a while ;"D and I hadn't drawn sad Kale yet so >:") I tried to shade hair in a different way, because I would kinda want it to be simple yet look good (as that's kinda what I want my style to be), and I don't think it turned out t o o bad haha- could be better though ;w; 21. (Mar) Uh huh lol 22. (Apr & May) Something I had in my head for a while; this is based off the song Sparks - Coldplay ;") I'm not sure if it'll be a theme song or not, but if it is, then I might use this picture, haha. This is also the first full body I drew of Flint, along with one of the actual successful sideviews of him :")) and yes, I associated yet another Coldplay song with him. :')))))) I should really stop doing that lol- 23. 24. (Mar?) What my pfp was GOING to be; Flint doesn't have eyes because I remember not getting them right but then just abandoning it X'D 25. (May-Jun) My actual pfp right now in case you wanna see ;') no steal. Yep still in my Cleo phase (for some reas-) B) I got stuck on the sTUPID BACKGROUND THOUGH UHHHHGH I kinda like the setting though- :'0 26. (May) Had something like this in my head for a bit and wanted to use the tilt blur. This also wasn't supposed to have as "complicated" a background, or lighting, but I thought why not :'P alSO SHUT UP I KNOW THE SAYING ISN'T REALLY THAT ORIGINAL I COULDN'T REALLY THINK OF ANYTHING THAT GOOD I MIGHT CHANGE IT LOL that saying is also totally ironic(?) because if anything, Frosty might be one to get cocky- 27. (May) Out of curiosity, I tried drawing a panel of STR Ch 10 in PS! I was thinking "oooh mAYbe I could switch to PS" but it ended up taking 44 minutes and 15 seconds. A regular panel takes an estimated possibly 15 - 20 minutes. So nope, not doing it X'D Also I'M SO SORRY MY WRITING IS HARD TO READ, IT'S ILLEGIBLE ;W; 28. (Jun) This literally popped into my head as I sat down to draw X'D however, I didn't do it all in one sitting lol. I kinda like how this turned out! The plaid shirt kILLED ME THOUGH HAHA and- and that piNkY- *shudders* anyway. I even have a few ideas for who this could be lol- (guess >;') ) also, the quality was sorta ruined because I was originally going to use a different canvas, but it didn't look great so I changed the canvas to its original size, but it was a few pixels too wide ;w; I know it's not a whole lot, but I hope this'll suffice lol. There'll be more coming- I swear, I'm working on stuff lol. I'm on a drawing spree right now, and have a lot of motivaAATIOON*knocksonwood* (and yes, I know what you're thinking. I have a lot of motivation for art and I'm not really working on STR? Yeah, I got stuck on pacing, and it's really weird lol. I'll try to get back to it soon though- I want to get chapter 10 out this month), and sadly (but maybe also not sadly lol), there'll probably be a few fillers for a while, but hopefully I can get a few quality things out.
