TLDR: Thanks Minecraft for being always there. The fact that I haven't really had a typical childhood is both unique and sad. Sure, I live in the USA, have friends, go to school, had nothing traumatic happen to me; but it still feels like I missed out on a lot due to really restricting parents and my lack of social knowledge (I legit lived under a rock until 6th grade). No crap, I really never experienced playing Minecraft until 2 years ago when I was 12, or got to run after an ice cream truck in the hopes of getting that perfect Spongebob popsicle (the latter, never!). Point is, we'll all soon become old and matured. Some of us will raise a family, some will become pioneers in their field of work. But no matter where you will be in the future, we will still all remember the nostalgic opening notes of C418's "Sweden", or the calming marimba of "Haggstrom". Thank you, Minecraft, for giving us a sense of childhood, even to those restricted and shy of their peers. I hope even in spite of Microsoft owning you, nothing bad will ever happen to your devs or the community.
I SWEAR IM NOT VENTING EMOTIONS Thanks to C418 for Mice on Venus, the song played in this project, and Simon Giard-Leroux on YT for posting the old version. Also thanks to Disney for this meme masterpiece of a movie :)
