TW: BRIGHT COLORS -- edit: fixed up the colors (only real change was just making the skin less pale) 1. super messy sketch. - honestly you probably shouldn't make the sketch THIS messy, if u do then make it a lighter color bc it might b hard to see the lineart n stuff - i dont really care abt making it neat, jsut kinda so i know where everything is nd how i wanna do it. im at the point where i dont rlly need a super complicated sketch to figure out how i wanna draw something, so this kinda depends on the person 2. lineart. i use a 5 pixel brush thingy. - since this is just my little messy doodle style i do at school, i dont rlly pay attention to making it neat n stuff - also expression change yeah 3. go into vector, make a big square the same color as your sketch, and move it behind everything. then go back to bitmap 4. set the fill tool to the nothing option thing and get rid of all the purple - you don't really have to do this part, the most you should do is erase the bg but thats kinda it - since the lineart is more messy theres parts where the purple is still there but i don't really care to remove it since this is just a little doodle 5. lineart touch ups (this is kinda just bc the lineart was kinda messy b4 u dont rlly have to do this) 6. color!! not really much to say here 7. the little blush thing - for the blush, i use a more saturated version of the skin tone. try not to make it too different or else it might look weird 8. the little face line things (also coloring part of the lineart) - for black colored things, i color it all the lineart color and then for any necessary lines i use a full saturated and full brightness(??? idk the word srry) version of the lineart color. if its black, i just use whatever color i want (for demon blaine thing i usually use red bc its like dark woahghhh, but in other situations i usually use just white) 9. some color changes, shading/lighting, and lineart coloring - i cant really explain the entire lighting thing here bc it would take a while but i might explain in a seperate project - for lineart coloring, i choose a darker more saturated version of the regular color. also i only to this with certain things? i dont really know how to explain it but uhh just look at the screen and hopefully u know what i mean 10. the eye highlights nd a few touch ups but you cant really see it uhh. whatever thats the end - the red highlight isnt rlly part of my "style" its kinda there just as a way to symbolize darks possession of blaine. idk if that makes sense or not its not rlly a lore thing i just think it looks nice
