The sun will blow up forming a black hole.The black hole will swallow the other planets but not now in billions of years when all the planets are too hot to live on anymore humans will probably be on a whole new universe by then so they will survive and the tech will be very advanced but this is about the sun not tech and all life will not be on earth anymore.They will be on a new universe. All the dogs and cats will be fine.
