Flag My little Mysteries book 1: the case of the sunken sky ship _____________________________________________ CHAPTER 1 Trixie was just finishing collecting her smoke bombs from the ground after a certain rainbow maned Pegasus decided to ram into her caravan…again. “Well maybe if your circus trailer hadn’t gotten in my way this wouldn’t have happened!”Rainbow snapped. “I told you the great and powerful Trixie accepts your apology, but if it’ll make you go away then yes this was totally all MY fault!”Trixie shot back. A loud crash sounded from the Everfree forest, and shocked out of their arguing the two mares rushed to the scene of the noise.What they found was a destroyed air ship,and a pirate crew was scrambling to their claws. “Captain Celaeno?!What the hay happened?!”Rainbow asked. “Rainbow dash!It’s nice to see you again—even at the expense of our ship…”Captain Celaeno replied. “What in Equestria happened here?!”Trixie asked,bewildered. “We don’t know.One minute we were in the sky and the next we were down here.”The bipedal bird replied. “This sounds like a great and mysterious occurrence!”Trixie announced,as if it were a show title. "The Great and Powerful Trixie…”She stated,pausing for dramatic effect,”Will be right back with her friends!”Trixie sped away,cape flowing after her. 5 minutes Later… “This is very odd…”Starlight said,poking at some debri with her hoof. “You just all of the sudden fell out of the sky?”Sunset asked. “I don’t know what happened,there was music that just appeared out of nowhere and then we were on the ground.”Captain replied. “Music?Sunset,Trixie,you two search for any clues that might hint at what happened, and I will fix the ship.”Starlight said,receiving nods from her companions.She then turned to the debris and focused her magic.Her horn lit up and she grunted at the effort as all the broken parts of the ship were lifted off the ground and put back together expertly. She then set it down gently on the ground. “I would suggest that you all take a break from the sky for a little bit.We don’t want you taking off only to come crashing down again because whatever did this is still there.”Starlight commented,as her friends were still checking the surrounding area for evidence.Trixie yelped in accomplishment. “I found a…Scale?”Trixie said,showing the scale in her hoof. “A scale?That's strange…I don’t think we should wait Starlight, we should try to figure this out.Let’s send them back up but with one of us on board along with the crew.The question is,who should we send?”Sunset said. “The Great and Powerful Trixie volunteers herself.”Trixie said,receiving shocked and worried glances from Sunset and Starlight. “You want to volunteer?!”Starlight asked. “I’ve never been on an airship before,and I think if anypony will be able to get rid of whatever caused this, it will be the great and powerful Trixie!”she exclaimed,hopping aboard the ship. “Are you sure about this Trixie?”Sunset asked her worriedly. “Oh!Yes,how silly of me!”Trixie said,looking through her cape pockets.After pulling out a dove,flowers,a colorful rope that seemingly went on for miles, and a grumpy Angel bunny,she pulled out a pair of keys and tossed them to Sunset,who caught them in her magic grasp. “Hold onto the spare keys to my caravan for me,okay?”Trixie said as the rest of the crew boarded.The ship lifted off the ground and soon disappeared into the clouds.A few minutes later it came falling back down, and Starlight and Sunset instantly lit their horns and levitated the ship together before it hit the ground. They gently settled it on the ground, and those aboard it jumped down to join the two unicorns,except for Trixie, who stumbled overboard and was fortunately caught by Sunset’s magic. The blue unicorn was slowly set down and once Sunset ceased the spell,she stood. Sunset gasped. “Starlight...aren’t Trixie’s eyes purple?”The orange unicorn whispered to her friend.Starlight nodded,taking in the same astonishing detail that Sunset was.Instead of their usual violet color,Trixie’s eyes were green.
