Coal jolted awake from his dream. This one had been different, he was running from something, he didn't know what but he could feel something on his tail, chasing him relentlessly. He padded out of the cave and his black pelt was lit up with sunlight. Suddenly he heard rustling in the bush. "I smell the rouge!" he heard the familiar voice of Sunpaw shout "Which way was it Sunheart?" another voice, Foxpaw's called Sun/heart/ he thought. Must be a clan thing, switching names. Suddenly a white blue-eyed tom with grey dapples on his muzzle, followed by a foxlike she-cat. Coal backed up, but he hit a tree. He was cornered!
