Yeesh... in comparison to The New Year, the writing in this is pretty messy. I mean, it was honestly messy to begin with, because I tried to tie up so many arcs into one animation since I shortened Season 4 to I think 10 animations? And not only that, but you can tell that this was a first draft written script. The pacing is also a bit too fast, and the turmoil with Rusty's father and brother is too short. To be fair though, Season 4 in general was just very messy. I understand it has its defenders and some people say it's their favorite, but most of the arcs all have byzantine stories trying to explain everything. Orange's I guess works, and so would have Rusty's if we got to see more how it was affecting him, and his Father and brother seeing him at his house had it's own "parter" episodes. Considering my headspace at the time, being put through all the throes relevant to me then, and basically doing the thing that's sung in that Motley Crue song all the time, it's no surprise Season 4 became what it did. Also there's way too many "funny" faces in this, geez. Do I think its worse than Halloween or The Game? No. It's not bad perse, it's just really really all over the place. The Void sorta had this problem but that arc was handled way more better and was streamlined enough to make sense, even with the current Season 3 structure (Which I've grown to regret a bit overtime).
Part I of Parental Guidance will come out some point later. I don't know when, I just thought I'd share this now since The New Year is out and I don't really want to finish this. Also don't animate lip sync before getting voice lines. I used to do that and you shouldn't ever do that. Original Episode started in October.
