okay so this is my entry!!! i think it turned out pretty well even though the original design was so awesome!!! BIO: name: Caide Pronouns: he/him Species: He is an Aria, which are the callers of the sea, (i googled it) described as a Mer-wolf-cat Backstory: every moon-cycle one Aria at the age of 100 moon cycles comes up to the surface and becomes a leopard as described by humans. There they must bring back a rare stone that can only be retrieved from the land, but in the presence of an Aria it glows, making it the light source of the UnderKingdom. Caide is on his 99th moon cycle, and he is not allowed above the surface yet. But a few days, later, Caide's father came up to him and swum him to the ceremony, sending waves of calm and encouragement that Caide needed. But Caide's older sister Biela has gone one her mission about 50 moon-cycles ago and she had not come back in the time limit, making her stuck on land forever. Caide had a right to be nervous. He glided through the north kelp forest, doing other fish lurking in the dark. He came out into a clearing where 13 other Aria hovered in a circle in the water. Caide swam into the center, realizing with a sudden shock that his father's warmth and presence was no longer near him. But Caide knew what to do. He positioned himself facing up in the center of the clearing, and the 13 other Aria started swimming in a circle. Faster and faster and faster until bubbles were swirling around Caide's vision until he couldn't see anything. Then his head burst out of the water and above the surface, his eyes screwed tight, not knowing what would come next. the drawing is Caide just coming out of the water
