Try different angles. In real roses, successive petals turn at the golden angle, 137.5° which spaces petals out well, with less overlap than for other angles. Many other angles angles, like 60 or 120 create much petal overlap which doesn't look right and is poor spacing for the flower. I think it looks best with turn angle set to the golden angle (137.5°), % shrink at 7%, darkening about 1%. Draw your own petal in remix.
Each rose uses one petal costume, copying, shrinking and turning that petal costume by the "turn angle." The next rose uses a different costume. "% darkening" darkens petals as they get smaller. We drew the petal costumes. Draw your own petal.
