Today I share this project to share with you guys that today, 1/24/23, my dog Jellybean has died. She's been alive my whole life, and I loved her very much. Bean (our nickname for her) was a terrier, but we aren't very sure of her breed. She was 21 when she died, and lived a very full life. My parents first found her when she was thrown out of a MOVING vehicle by her former owners. Our guess was she was 4 when this happened. She was covered in fleas and scratches, and didn't trust my parents at first. She was scared. My parents finally gained her trust and when my older brother was born, Bean protected him all around the house. She did the same to me when I was born. She was a very sweet dog, and loved the outdoors and hunting. She always came back home with a mouse or rabbit in her jaws, which, of course, we made her put it down before she came into the house. As she got older, though, she got skin infections, and she grew blind and deaf. She lived much longer than a normal dog, and without her roaming our house, the house now just feels...empty. We knew we had to let her go, she was in lots of pain. My parents went to the vet with her while I was in school, so I didn't have to witness it. I miss you so much.
