Imperator Lucan's Statement regarding Solarian transgressions: Fellow Avistoni, It has forever been the dream of the Imperium to reunite the once united people that is the Solarians and Avistoni-- to bring together us and our estranged brethren who split from us centuries ago, ending the never-ending conflict between our great nations. However, peace and unification is not wrought by war. By fighting, we only prolong the fighting--fueling the fire that is the animosity between Solarian and Avistoni. We must not make the mistakes of our ancestors, contributing to the conflict and bequeathing it to our descendants--leaving them with the same hate and animosity we create by fighting. Why should our children inherit a conflict they never played a part in creating? Why must we fight a war resulting from our departed ancestor's actions? Thus, I have not gathered us here today to rally us against the Solarian's for their recent transgressions -- the transgressions inspired by the hate left by their ancestors. I have gathered us here to finally call for peace between us and the Solarians. We must finally bring and end to this unnecassary quarrel that's continually inhibited both our nations. Under my direct orders, an ambassador has been sent to Solaria to finally negotiate peace. Only when this peace is negotiated, will Avistoni and Solarian alike at last be free from the confining chains of hate placed upon us and our descendents by our forefathers. Avistoni and Solarians will once again be brothers, birthing a new age for our nations. An age of harmony.
