Ok so- I was watching TV and this one commercial came on Cartoon Network about “We Baby Bears” (you’ve heard of it it’s a spin off of we bare bears) and there was one little preview where the panda was dressed up as an anime girl (I think????) and my mom asked me “is that a girl” to which I responded “no, it’s a boy he’s just dressed up as a girl” and then she said- and I can’t believe she said this but then she said “Good, I thought they were trying to do that transgender thing like “oOoH I iDeNtifY as a gIrL pAnDa” and I just didn’t say anything after that- she said that being non binary or trans is dumb bc you can “identify as a cat, or a tractor, or an object” I couldn’t even believe that- and I couldn’t say that she was being homophobic bc she would yell at me or something for supporting people who think they have no gender at all, or switch Sorry I needed to say this bc I couldn’t allow her to be a transphobe/ homophobic without being noticed Sorry bestie don’t come after my mom for this lmao- I just couldn’t accept this
