I added salt Drag the chemicals into the bowl and press react to see what they do together! Tap on the chemicals to see what they are as well. You’ve all seen baking soda and vinegar react. (At least, I hope you have. If you haven’t, go mix the, right now. It’s fun.) This is an example of an acid base reaction. Why does this happen? (I’m pretty sure this is what happens. Comment if I’m wrong) Some molecules have hydrogen ions floating around, and some don’t and want hydrogen ions. When the two substances are put together, they react, exchanging the hydrogen and causing different chemical bonds to form. Acids have the hydrogen, and bases don’t. The acids are ammonia and vinegar, and the bases are baking soda and bleach. This is probably the crummiest project I’ve ever made. I threw this together really fast, and there are only 3 real reactions you can make, not including water. Update: I fixed Ammonia and Bleach and added Vinegar with Bleach.
