XD ---------------Story---------------- Phoenixkit and her brother Featherkit were the best of friends as kits. As they soon aged into apprentices, they still were friends, even thought they didn't see each other as much. One night, lightning struck the ground in camp. Huge, growing flames circled all of the cats in camp, almost trapping them. The leader yelled for everyone to head for the river. Phoenixpaw got left behind and stuck between flames and the lake. She looked for an exit, but failed to find one. She curled into a ball on the sand, and started to cry. A dark shadow cat appeared, and attempted to comfort her. "I'm Phantom. Follow me." She spoke. Phantom lead Pheonixpaw through the flames and to the rest of the clan. Featherpaw came up and hugged her. "Phoenixpaw! I thought that I would have been alone forever!" She was confused. "But don't you have mom and dad?" Featherpaw turned towards the flames. "Mom and Dad aren't coming." Moons passed, and the clan had almost forgotten about the fire. Phoenixpaw and Featherpaw became Pheonixfrost and Featherheart. The leader appointed Featherheart as deputy. That night, he had a dream with StarClan, telling him that there was a cat who needed to be watched, by the name of Phantom. Featherheart knew about Phoenixfrost's escape helper, and tried to talk to her. However, she ignored him. She thought nothing of it, assuming his sister knew best. Lightning struck the camp again. Pheonixfrost and Featherheart both ran towards the river, but got stuck in the same place Phoenixfrost was when she was an apprentice. Phantom started to appear, ready to guide them out. Featherheart stood back. "That's Phantom! Get away from her, Pheonixfrost!" Phoenixfrost didn't listen. "This is your time!" Phantom whispered. "No!" She whispered back. Featherheart stared in disbelief. "Phoenixfrost? I thought we were friends?" He asked. Phantom possessed Phoenixfrost, taking control of her body. With one leap and strike, Featherheart was dead on the ground. Phantom unpossessed Phoenixfrost, leaving her in shock. "It's time you accept your fate," She urged. -------------------------------
