RULES 1. power is ultimately determined by wits and animation skills 2. don't waste your opponent's effort (commonly known as dodging and/or countering) 3. better fighters in this regard will get priority 4. exceptions to these rules can be made if both participants agree to it failure to follow these rules will result in an automatic defeat
