Coal hopped down from the fence and reported to the starry pool for the third night in a row. *** He lie down beside the pool and slept. Every night that he came here he had dreams that he was with Song running through moors without any cares. He always knew when he was about to wake up. A voice would come to him and say, "This is where you belong" it would say He would try with all his might not to wake up, but every time within seconds of the voice coming to him he would feel the cold stone beneath him and see the sunlight filtering into the cave. He would then turn around, exit the cave and spend the rest of his day looking for Amber until nighttime when he returned to the cave to do it all again. *** Coal walked out of the cave, he stretched his back, yawning. Suddenly he heard the voice of a kit, but it couldn't be Amber. It was a tom. "Catch up Silverfang!" it yowled "We have to get to the moonpool so I can see Starclan!" "We have until moonhigh Sunpaw" another, deeper voice responded And then there was Song's voice "Don't be afraid Foxpaw, I am positive Starclan will accept you" Coal heard Song say "Are you sure?" he heard another kit say, this one was a she-cat Coal bristled and ran back into the cave. He could hide there.
