So I've discovered this book series that no one reads anymore XD It's called His Dark Materials and it's really good. For some reason they only made the first book into a movie. Anyways it's about this world where this girl and her daemon (physical form of her soul always an animal also they can talk) travel the world to find her friend who has been kidnapped for some evil purpose. A child's daemon can change forms until they reach thirteen, and then they settle and take one form for the rest of their life. I made an OC who's name is Athena. She has a short temper but can also be very passionate and kind. She also seems to act like she's the authority. She's nine so her daemon (Named Aphrodite) hasn't settled, but is most commonly seen taking the form of a ragdoll cat. Athena is one of those rare people with a daemon the same gender as them. Aphrodite has a similar personality as Athena (which is what always happens in the books, they also have differences) but is also on the more cautious and calm side.
