On September 27th, 2015, it was confirmed that MCA DiscoVision was revived by MCA, NBCUniversal, SammyWorks, RandomWorks, 3M DVD, and JayWorks/Legend PortaDVD. TV Tokyo, SyFy, and Teletoon wanted to revive it too, so they did.
