|◁ II ▷| SAC Camper Signups 2023 hi everyone, and welcome to the SAC Leader Applications! Please read through all the information before Applying! (forms are at the bottom) What is SAC ? - - - - - - - - - - - SAC, or Scratch Acting Camp, is a voice acting camp that will go on Feb, July, and November this year. There are 4 cabins: Emotion, Tone, Character, and Quality. Each cabin will focus on that one topic, and the Cabin leaders will guide their cabin step by step on how to improve with activities. This is where you can apply to be a cabin leader. If I accept your application, you will be one of 4 camp leaders. If I do not accept your application (commenting on your remix) you will not be able to be a cabin leader. Sign ups will CLOSE ON JAN 26. Camp will run through (still deciding). (4 weeks total) What could I do as a leader? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Every cabin leader will be in charge of all the activities. i.e setting them up and creating them (the activities can be kahoot or a lesson or something else). A cabin leader will also have the responsibility of calculating points (description of points in later) and giving your campers the weekly challenge (also mentioned later). What are points and weekly challenges? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Every week, there will be a fun point earning challenge that the leaders will tell their cabin. The host (me) and leaders of the cabins will look at how well their cabin did and will give their team points based on certain categories. The team/cabin with the most points at the end of the month will be the winners! - week 1- Monologue. week 2- Improv. week 3- Monologue. week 4- audition. In their free time, every camper will be able to do voice acting related things to earn points for their cabin. Every 5 minutes will count as one point. At the end of the day, if they did a VA related activity alone, they would tell their leader the amount of minutes they have done. These minutes will help your cabin be the winners at the end of the month. (if you are unsure of an activity, please ask host) THINGS THAT COUNT FOR POINTS -Auditioning -Monologues -Lines -Helping a cabin mate with va -Reading a book and saying the dialogue THINGS THAT DON'T COUNT FOR POINTS -Writing a series -Making an episode for a series -Simply reading a book without saying the dialogue. What is everything we MUST do? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -calculate points with the host -lead your cabin in fun activities (at least 1 a week) -create a theme and name for your cabin with the help of your students (spaceship theme, Donut theme, etc) (optional- ask them to send in an audition they did and you can kindly critique it.) A camp leader who fails to create activities AT LEAST once a week will get kicked out. (unless you have a very important thing coming up, just tell me) Any other questions? Just ask in the comments :)
