YES FR LIKE if u want to make it simpler go for it and remove the vines or accesories or whatever IF YOU WANT TO GO FOR A CYBERPUNK/STEAMPUNK TAKE ON IT, gO FOR IT?? 4. How will judge the entries? I will base it on the overall consistency of all your skills, so let's say, your colors and shading is consistent, but your art piece is simple, like, I like that! If your entry good shading but okay-ish proportions, that does slightly tick me off, and idk if this all sounds weird but I have seen dmc results where someone placed someone higher than somebody else because their entry was more "complex" in a certain perspective but as an overall entry it kinda sucked?? e, dont take this too seriously fr. :'] 5. Am I allowed to make more than one entry? YES, and I will judge you on whatever entry I like better, so don't think that because you made more entries mean you will get a higher spot only because of time and effort. 6. Can I draw more than one character? YES SIRSS GO ON 7. Can we make up our own new stories/AUs for the characters? LEGITMATELY SOUNDS COOL, LIKE GO DO IT 8. Snakes from Arcane, legit an amazing song fr 10. What time period are these characters in? THESE ARE FICTION CHARACTERS so i dont really have a time period for them, but I did take inspiration from renaissance and victorian fashion. ALSTHOUGH, someone said edwardian fashion suits best and it's true. 11. How old is Emy and the Garden Maidens? Emy's about 10-13, while the maidens are ageless, being about in their early 30's in terms of looks. 12. Is genderbending allowed? LONG SUMMARY OF THE STORY IS HERE: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/25673152/comments SHORT SUMMARY OF PRINCESS EMY FIRST, she's a princess with overprotective parents who are king and queen of an unnamed high-class country, yes sir, magic is banned there and one day Princess Emy finds a magical butter knife that so once belonged to Prince John, a knight who died a thousand years ago and whose soul could not rest without the butter knife. Emy can be very stubborn as well as curious. Her parents gave the responsibility of raising Emy up to the garden maidens whom I WILL TAKE ABOUT, but basically the garden maidens pretty much have no standards for Emy's attitude so long as she's safe, so yeah Emy can be a rude girl >:[ The garden maiden or MAIDENS i should say, are magically created beings by the mother and father of Emy, and indeed I did just say that magic was banned in this country but that’s just so the king and queen could secretly use magic for their own well-being. The garden maidens, being artificially created, have a very stereotypical personality as not much work was put into creating them besides the fact that all they exist for is to raise up Emy safely.
