This is just a thing so I can relax :D ________ Queen Inferno signaled Ember to be quiet. "You wait here and don't make a sound. I'll just pretend to the guards that I want to inspect the eggs," Inferno said. "I can sneak the egg into the rest, it's quite dark in the hatchery, and I can assure you it'll be impossible for anyone to recognise its colours." Ember nodded, thinking of Meander. This dragonet would be triple hybrid. Hopefully, a triple hybrid with a look of the average FlameWing. He couldn't let anyone in the tribe know that this was his dragonet. That this was a hybrid. That he had any mate at all. "Greetings, fellow guards!" Queen Inferno beamed, as if nothing was wrong in the whole of the world. "Forgive me your majesty," one of the guards bowed. "But aren't inspections next month?" "Oh no, dear," said the queen. "I believe it was re-scheduled early." Both the guards dipped their heads and made-way for Inferno. She slowly made her way to the far corner of the hatchery. Quickly, when the guards had their backs turned, she took the egg from the nook of her wing and buried it deep into the orphan egg pile. "I'm sorry, little dragonet." She whispered. "Even though you won't know who he is, your father will always be in reach."
