Running as sand strokes my feet; Cold water is not a fear. I stop to feel the breeze, And I stop to feel the spray, Gazing upon the magical glory, A mile, Watching the sunset make its way, Lifting my hand up, Touching the last light of day, I smile, Just me and the ocean. The ocean can be rough; The ocean will be tough. But I don't care; it doesn't give a scare. It makes me imagine dreams that take me far; They make me feel as if I'm flying with the stars. As if I'm in a fictional world that I created; and things will happen that I had not anticipated. Dreaming of the night skies looking the prettiest ever; and spending eternity in this fictional world forever. I wish I could stay; I wanna be here all day and watch the clouds descend and ascend and watch the stars sparkle from afar just me & my creation, of the figments of my imagination; just me & the whales & crustaceans, I'm making observations and considerations of all of these beautiful, fictional locations. but really ... it all goes away, and my mind goes back to just me & the ocean. the waves are blue and chilly and it's a bright, sunny day, and i find satisfying the ocean wave's motion. the ocean's motion growls as if it has true emotion. the silky sand touches my hand and i think in my head " well, it doesn't bring me dread that the imaginations that were led; away from me, they have fled. because truly, the ocean is ahead.
