EDIT LOL: Yeah this isn't really canon anymore. I'm still attempting to develop this story, so ig that's to be expected. Some bits are currently (as of 8/8/23) still canon, but there's a few pretty major changes I will not be getting into. Guess what was meant to be a fun low-effort project? And guess what turned into a lighting/color/coding test? Yup. I don't know why I'm surprised, this happens every time I make something "small" and "quick". Anyhow, consider this an introduction to the protagonist squad. A few were in Lotus Eater, but I've tweaked some of those designs and made a few more! SO, in order of appearance: Aspen - Dude in the green jacket. He wanted to be a scholar, but was unable to finish his training. Onyx - Kind of there? They're the eyes. Aspen made a deal with them. They're pretty volatile, generally preferring to cause chaos and torment Aspen. Anya - Painter girl with the red panda (whose name is Honey. He is the real emotional core of the group lol). She's a painter and alchemist, her goal in life is to help people. Which is very vague. Gravedigger - Dude with the lantern. He's a gravedigger (obviously) and never divulged his name. He doesn't have a wide range of positive expressions. Or any positive expressions, for that matter. Jack - Fire dude. He's the local arsonist. Enough said. Ghost - Unlike Gravedigger, who doesn't like giving his identity, she straight up doesn't remember her name, like most ghosts in this universe. She haunts Willow, but she rarely shows herself to the rest of the group Willow - If Lotus Eater is her in serious situations, this is her 90% of the time. She jokes around, intentionally antagonizes people, and generally is a headache for her rule-following brother, Aspen. She also somehow apprenticed herself to Gravedigger.
I found out that smooth gliding is hard at slow speeds. Even the one other animators use doesn't hold up well. And there is no way I can understand what CapitanFluffy uses for her memes to make them so smooth. So I improvised with a truckload of zooms. Anyway, the song is called SEGA. Not to be confused with the other SEGA meme. This one has vocaloids in it. I don't feel like explaining what that is. I've realized that I like putting the title in the top left corner haha
