Silk strolled along the pebbly path, toward her house. She opened the door and walked into her kitchen, and opened the fridge to find out that her pie ingredients VANISHED!! She panicked, wondering who stole her ingredients! She looked inside the pantry just in case she had misplaced them, but something else was odd. She saw a few drips of lava and some obsidian pebbles next to where she put her plates. She found three plates in the dish strainer, but she needed five for all of her friends coming for pie! She wanted to make a mouse and apple pie, for her friends were felines! But all she could forage in the pantry was a few mouse tails and an apple core. She said to herself, "This mustn't be a robber, for I am quite deep into the meadow," So she hopped into her carriage and gently slapped the reins onto the riding inchworm, and they were off into the forest. They suddenly stopped when the inchworm screeched. Silk gasped, frantically hopping out of the carriage, looking for what made him screech in pain. She only found a few drips of lava, and now she knew where to find the robber. She wrapped a bandage around the inchworm's hurt foot, and hopped back into the carriage. She found a house that was made of obsidian, and lava dripped down the windows and sides. She gave the inchworms a big juicy green leaf to chew while she nervously used the doorknocker. A young male voice answered. "Who is it?" Silk hesitated, but then said, "I'm Silk, may I come in?" He slowly opened the door to see a very pretty lady. "Um...I'm Meteorite...come in, please." He said, and walked back into his house. She followed, then realized a scratch on his eye. "Oh my, is your eye okay?!" He shook his head. "I...um, got into a fight..." He stood up on his back legs and showed scratches on his belly. Silk told him to sit down as she wrapped a bandage around his belly and eye. "Put this ointment on your eye every morning." She told him, and handed him a little tube of ointment. He thanked her and patted some on his eye under his bandage. "Hey, why were you taking my pie ingredients?" she asked. "What pie ingredients? I don't see any..." He lied and trailed off. "Why else would there be obsidian pebbles and lava where my plates and pie ingredients would be?!" He frowned, and confessed, "I'm sorry, I just...I don't have enough coins to buy any pie ingredients myself...I'm very hungry..." Silk gasped, "You know, I was going to make a pie for all my friends, you can come too, you know." "Would you really want me at your pie picnic?" Silk rolled her eyes, "Why wouldn't I? Now come on, let's make a pie!" <3
