Their goal is to investigate study the plants that are found on Earth. Although even after it came time to go home, she decided to stay on Earth and help the people there and teach them different things about technology. And because she decided to stay, within 2 years, Earth's technology advanced where it would have been in 100 years. After those two years she travels back to her home planet, but sometimes visits Earth.
