At work today, we were challenged to create a creature in Scratch in a limited amount of time. So I have grabbed pieces of various vector sprites and mashed them together. I used the reshape tool to move vector points around and reshape some things, the fill and the eyedropper to match color between the pieces so they look like they belong together, and grouped and ungrouped elements to easily drag and connect them. Can you tell what sprites I used pieces from? Click the green flag to see my creature walk.
PROMPT: After doing the challenge and seeing some of the responses, I was inspired to add this to our "Activity Swap! Prompts & Inspiration | 2023" studio. Feel free to remix this project and add your own crazy creature mashup! We suggest directly remixing, as it is the best way to show which activity you are trying. Then you’ll have a chance to share your project in the show-and-tell studio launching in week two. See the "Activity Swap! Prompts & Inspiration | 2023" studio here for more ideas: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/32686593 What will you create for Activity Swap? =^..^=
