Backstory: (revised) Brine's home life wan't the best. He grew up in the middle of eight other siblings, and was always craving the attention of his parents. Along with his four older siblings, Brine was sent off to war to fight for the seawing empire, though the war ended shortly after they joined. After coming out, his mother became furious with him, locking him on the surface until he came to his senses. Brine spent almost a month without water, causing permanent damage to his eyes (the yellow). When his mother finally came to check on him, he lashed out out of fear and ended up hurting her. In retaliation, his mother attacked him with the intent to kill, so he had to harm her in self defense. One of his older siblings saw the whole thing, forcing Brine to run away in fear of being turned in for murder.
