PLEASE, if you see this RP, join. overall, making the map, the backstory the explanations, everything, took me more than an hour. and its been very hard since I think I caught some sort of sickness in colombia. I know it isn't covid cuz I got tested a few hours ago, but I don't feel very well. BACKSTORY: Climate change ravaged nations, made rich nations poor, and decimated the poor nations. many areas of the world were flooded, especially in developing countries who could not get the necessary walls, dams, and other infrastructure to survive. even with all that, many recourses were lost because of the large amounts of water, and countries became reckless. in the year 4563 the "Great war of hunger" as it was known started with 4 opposing factions. in East Asia there was the revolutionary front, consisting of the koreas, Japan, China, Russia, and thailand. their goals was to spread communism to the world as they thought it would fix the hunger. in the nations of Africa and Latin America, the "DPOTS" (defense pact of the south) fought to gain recourses, and defeat the Asian, European, and north american nations, who they saw as "wealth hoarders" the countries of north america and France, Britain, Denmark (including greenland), iceland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, and Finland formed "NNATO" (New North atlantic treaty organization, or New NATO for short). they fought to reestablish Nato as a power and fix the world through capitalist systems. the remaining countries of asia, oceania, and europe formed the "P&D" pact (P&D stands for Peace and Defense) their goals were simply to continue peace and defend themselves. in the end though, with thermonuclear bombs being invented in 3674, it ended in disaster for all sides. now an incredibly small amount of people still live in the world. living by farming and hunting, and just barely staying alive. however, without carbon emissions due to few vehicles still being used by the few remaining people, climate change has halted. now people are attempting to rebuild. Science has failed immensely due to disaster after disaster and not enough money to continue funding it, and also most scientific blueprints and documents were destroyed in the thermonuclear blasts, so the technology is now stuck in 2060's tech (not much better than our real life modern tech)
