~ JUST TO MAKE THIS CLEAR IT IS A JOKE ~ TW: kissing It was a beautiful morning, and you woke up to the sound of birds chirping. "How pleasantly wonderful." You smiled, hopping out of bed. For a strange reason only you will be able to understand, you were already dressed. Shoes and all. "Y/n, it's a beautiful day. You should go to the park." Your mom suggested, walking into the room to open your curtains. "That actually sounds like a pleasant idea, dearest mother." You said cheerfully, skipping down the stairs and out the door, grabbing a quick waffle for breakfast on your way out. Before you know it, you were at the park. It was such a pretty day, the sun was shining, the birds were out, and there wasn't a single cloud in the sky. That's when you noticed a mentally unstable person curled up in a ball, crying on a bench. He looked about your age. "What's the matter?" You asked the crying person, walking towards the bench. "My parents found out about my scratch account. Now it's deleted." He sobbed. You did not know what scratch was, but you still felt empathy for this child. You sat down next to him calmly. "What's your name?" You questioned. "Dusk. What's your name?" Dusk asked. "I'm y/n. Now, what is scratch and what has you so sad about it?" "Scratch is a coding website...and you can talk to people. You'd have to see it to understand it." "Well then, could you show me it sometime?" You asked. "No, I don't have an account. And I'm too lazy to make myself another one." Dusk sighed. "Well, you could help me make an account!" You suggested. "Really, y/n? You want to make an account?" He exclaimed, sitting up. "Sure," You agreed, pulling out your phone. "Show me how." The two of you spent the next hour setting up the account. Your username was @.dusk-simp. You had that username as a joke, but after spending so much time with this amazing person that was Dusk, you couldn't help but admit you were catching feelings. "Alright." Dusk said once you had everything fully set up and a few projects posted. "Now I must show you the best part of Scratch. Girls Who Don't Fit In." "What's Girls Who Don't Fit In?" You implored. Dusk didn't say anything, he just pulled up the studio. You looked closer at it, noticing the comment at the top. "Kneecaps are so delicious I am going to have some for dinner tonight." You read aloud. You looked at Dusk. Dusk looked back at you and smiled. "Do kneecaps actually taste that good?" You questioned. Dusk raised his eyebrow. "Of course they taste good. Do you want to try some kneecaps, y/n?" "Of course I do!" You exclaimed. Dusk smiled. He took your hand, and led you away from the park. Towards Gru's house. "I never knew kneecaps could taste so good!" You shouted excitedly, chomping up Gru's kneecaps. Dusk showed you how to use an axe to chomp off the kneecaps perfectly. "These are exquisite." You said again. Dusk smiled, blushing in your direction. You couldn't tell if the red on his cheeks was because he was allergic to kneecaps or he liked you. You hoped it was the second option. Once you had both finished your plate, Dusk asked a question. "Do you want to watch The Owl House, y/n?" "Sure!" You agreed, walking over to the TV. Dusk followed, grabbed the remote, and sat down on the couch next to you. It was quite the small couch, so you could feel Dusk's body heat. And you didn't mind it. The first few minutes of the first episode went smoothly, until Luz entered the demon realm. You screamed fearfully when you saw that giant caterpillar-like thing. Dusk took your hand, and you immediately felt better. The two of you watched and watched The Owl House late into the night. Almost finished with the first season, Dusk looked at you and smiled. "What? Are Luz and Amity going to kiss?" You asked. "No. But we are." Dusk replied, pecking your lips. You sat there, awestruck. "I love you, y/n." Dusk said. "I love you too, Dusk." ~ THE END ~
