The had brought back a bird, a mouse, and a large fish. *I'm so hungry!* "Wow you guys! This is awesome!" I told them. It took me a while to realize that they weren't even looking at each other. "What happened?" I asked. "Something... that Smoke and I will keep to ourselves." said Echo still not looking at my brother. And at that moment, I knew just what had happened. "Ooooooo I know. You guys got all mushy and told each other that you guys loooooove eachother." I said trying to be funny. But I went to far. "YOU KNOW WHAT?" yelled Smoke. "THAT"S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED! AND IT WASN'T GOOD!" I could tell that what ever I tried to do would not help. So I just sat there as Smoke raged. I realized that Echo was... wait. Was she crying? Poor Echo. Smoke probably rejected her. "Echo? If you ever want to talk about what happened, I'm here." I said as I entered her den. "I can tell that you're sad and that Smoke probably rejected you." I continued. But that just made Echo cry MORE. "I-I'm sorry." I stammered. "Well, um, since I'm clearly not helping, I-I'll just leave." I said feeling like I just made everything worse. As I was halfway outside, I heard a whisper. "No. Please don't leave me." I turned around expecting to see Echo looking at me.
