So basically Toads and Koopas were long-term rvials and like 90% of the other races sided with the koopas cuz toads are annoying, and since the toads were sensitive crybabies (totally not me :')), they built a giant robot thing called VORTEX to destroy the Koopas which somehow started a war between them. Meanwhile some random cloak people called Sapphirs appear out of nowhere, bringing along mysterious rainbow juice energy known as Dymin which the toads use to power up their machine. Eventually the koopas find out and decide to storm their main fortress, at the same time as some Resistance guys i guess. Their leader fights the Toads' leader but random ahh Sapphir accidentally activates AI and transforms all three of them into... stuff while a giant rift destroys everything lamo. All the Sapphirs are sent back to Mysteria while the Koopas and everyone else ig is banished to the volcanic wastelands except the toads cuz plot convenience ig About 35 years of Super Mario Bros™ for NES, a near extinction of the entire Sapphir population, and disguising as a ROBLOX game for some reason, a bunch of random "visitors" from different universes start appearing and later *GASP* THE SAPPHIRS DIDNT ACTUALLY LOSE THEIR SOULS AND ARE NOW RESURRECTING WHO WOULD'VE KNOWNNNNNN- so anyway one of the former Sapphir rulers' pets somehow gets to the Mushroom Kingdom and tries to resummon an army to take revenge on the Toads while Bowser gathers up a bunch of rando villains to invade the town during 4th of July. unfortunately, a majority of them somehow stumble into where VORTEX is being kept and get captured. eventually Bowser is caught so it's the Sapphirs' turn now. but WHOOPS, they also get caught but so does the mayor who turns out to be the one behind all this. in a desperate attempt, he "accidentally" activates VORTEX and shatters the entire universe I suppose- So uh- the visitors get transported to some futuristic area where they fight rando glitches ig, rescue the villains from earlier for some reason, and fight VORTEX in S P A C E. Also BF has Dymin powers for some reason which is how they defeat it. The universe re-merges, the visitors are now able to travel between their homelands and the Mushroom Kingdom, and everything is normal again yippee!! (for the most part... externally-)
