Coal was intent on seeing Song. He waited until a little later and ventured back into the forest. Before he could search for anyone he heard a yowl. It sounded familiar but he couldn't put his paw on it. Suddenly a stampede of rouges was on him. There paws hammered around him and he couldn't move, and he could barely breathe. Cats shuffled past him, their faces shadowed with fear so much that they didn't even notice him. As fast as they had came, they were gone. Following the rouges was a light yellow she-cat with blue eyes. "Never come back here or I'll t3ar your pelts off!" she yowled, tears streaming down her face Coal blinked. Something big had just happen, and he had to make sure that Song was okay. He shuffled along where the rouge scent led from, and was suddenly hit by the scent of many cats. Towering in front of him was a large wall made of ferns and thorns, and it was littered with Song's scent. There was no way that he could get through without someone noticing. He walked around the other side and found a small hole. He shoved his head through and there was Song, curled around a tom. The tom's pelt was soaked with bl00d, and he lie unmoving. "Wake up my love. Please." Coal heard Song say Coal's eyes widened. He had waited too long, and now Song had fallen in love. Just as he was about to run away Song turned around. "Coal?" she said At that, Coal turned and ran all the way back to Ash's nest. He would never go to the forest again.
