SPACE FOR VERSION 2 About the art: So this is my drawing of Stream! The only changes I added were I made the ears pink instead of blue, added a few minor spots and gradients, and lots of jewelery. I also kept the white pupils, I think they look good on a blue character like Stream. I'm SUPER proud of this, I think it turned out well! The shading in particular I really like, and Firealpaca allowed me to do so easily. Anyways, onto the backstory! Backstory: Stream was a simple cat. She lived far away from everybody, preferring to live a life of solitude. Her daily routine generally involved several chores around her home and at least an hour of reading per day. This was how it had always been; simple. All of that changed when Stream was invited to one of the large cities near her. At first, she considered declining the request and simply living alone for the rest of her life. After a few days of debating, Stream finally decided that she would accept. She went into the city of Amira, which was known for being the most advanced of the cat cities. There she met a few kind people on the streets who filled her in on the city's basic information. Stream began to grow attatched to the city, and she decided she would stay and open up a shop. She sold handmade (or paw-made, I guess) trinkets, and everybody seemed to love them. Life was fairly simple again for the next couple of years, as Stream kept Raging Rivers Trinket Shop open and running. 6 years later, Stream saw a strange customer walk into her store. They were a cat, but.. strange. The appeared to be almost completely transparent with glowing white outlines, and their eyes were glowing as white as pears. Even stranger yet, they had large feathery wings. This mysterious figure seemed to radiate an aura of light and peace, and so Stream let them buy a few trinkets before they left and dissapeared. Over the next few weeks, more and more of these ghost cats came in and out of her store, and Stream even began to see them roaming the streets. It was as if the civillians of Amira were turning into ghosts. That was exactly the case. Stream had no clue what was going on until one of the starry ghost cats led her to a rock cliff in the middle of the night. In a matter of seconds, the figure lunged at Stream and knocked her off the stone ledge. She came to her senses just before she hit the ground. This is it, she thought as she closed her eyes. A minute or so later, Stream opened her eyes. The strange cat was nowhere to be seen, and she was somehow alive. She stretched her paws, about to get up, and that was when she saw the glowing white outline of paws in front of her. She had turned into one of the ghost cats, wings and everything. Life would never be the same after that. Or should I say.. death? End...?
