Back in the 30's Cetro wanted to make a car that could go faster than the average ford or chevy, so they put together a group of people to design a car that could be fast. That's how the Cetro Rapide was born. Topping out at 136MPH, the Cetro Rapide was the second fastest car of the 30's and was very popular among race car drivers. The Rapide came out in four Variants. The base variant has a very sleek look to it and tops out at 119 MPH. The Base version came out in only five colors, the most common color being green. There is also pale blue, ruby red, banana yellow and a very deep plum which is very hard to find. The rest of the cars only came out in one color. The Special edition is a faster variant of the car which tops out at 128MPH. The Special version also has custom rims and a custom paint job. Then there is the Beach Cruiser or Cruiser for short, which comes in a custom paint job with completely different wheels. The Cruiser tops out at 122MPH. Then there is the race, which was not available to the public and there were only 20 made in case one were to get in a crash. Today, there are only 9 left in the world. Overall, there were 25,000+ Rapide vehicles sold and they have appeared in car shows and auctions all the time.
