"Office?" Whiz asked slowly. "What office-?!" "Don't play dumb!" Obsidian hissed. "You are to keep out of every other room except yours." "We got lost!" Nix said quickly. "So we wanted to search for you to lead us back and-" "I was downstairs." Obsidian narrowed her eyes. "We didn't know!" Oak said. "Enough," Obsidian said, raising her hand to silence them. "Come with me." They followed as Obsidian led them to a- holy cheeseballs was that a dungeon?! Whiz wasn't sure, but there were cells and even a live spider dangling from the walls from a thread. She gagged. "You are to stay IN YOUR ROOM," Obsidian said, "Or you know exactly what will happen to you." She gestured to the dungeon and walked out. "Has she lost her mind?" Nix hissed. "We've got to get out of here before something happens!" The other 2 agreed with her. Whiz snatched a piece of paper and pen. "So what's the plan?" she whispered. "We'll try the classic way," Oak replied. "We try escaping from the windows." The three of them looked up. The window was too high for them, but... "We can stand on each other to reach it, and once one of us goes up she can pull up the others!" Whiz said excitedly. "Nix, you're the tallest. You start the pile." Whiz climbed on her next, and then Oak did. "Yesss!" Oak exclaimed. She had gotten up and was now sitting on the windowsill. "Hang on!" She called to them, and pulled out a vine-rope from her bag, and tossed it to them. She started pulling, and Nix and Whiz got themselves up. "Quickly!" Nix whispered, and the 3 of them ran into the city.
